Sur La Route is an XM Satellite Radio channel featuring hit music, new and old. It was born in November 2005 as part of the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission's (CRTC) regulations for Canadian content on the XM platform, as well as 50% French language content. Due to bandwidth issues, the channel replaced XM and Worldspace's Ngoma. The channel broadcasts in the French language. In English "Sur La Route" means "On the road".
