Caliente is the name of an XM Satellite Radio's Tropical music channel. It is available on channel 94 on XM and channel 872 on DirecTV. The channel has two live personalities, Jesus Salas & Eddie Silva. On 2007-11-19, Fuego was moved to the online service. Some of the Reggaeton/Hispanic Rhythmic songs that aired on that channel are now played on this channel. The channel now has a 3:1 ratio of Tropical music to Reggaeton/Hispanic Rhythmic music.
This channel was programmed by Hispanic Broadcasting Corporation until it merged with Univision Radio in 2002. Univision Radio programmed the channel until 2004 channel production turned in-house. XM returned the channel to the satellites on 2004-08-02.
