Rozzano is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Milan in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 9 km south of Milan. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 38,493 and an area of 12.3 km².[1]
The municipality of Rozzano contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Quinto de' Stampi, Valleambrosia, Pontesesto, and Cassino Scanasio.
Rozzano borders the following municipalities: Milan, Assago, Zibido San Giacomo, Opera, Pieve Emanuele, Basiglio.
