Nerviano is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Milan in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 15 km northwest of Milan. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 17,523 and an area of 13.5 km².[1]
The municipality of Nerviano contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Garbatola, Sant'Ilario, Villanova, Cantone, and Costa S. Lorenzo.
Nerviano borders the following municipalities: Cerro Maggiore, Origgio, Lainate, Parabiago, Pogliano Milanese, Arluno.
