Baranzate is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Milan in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 8 km northwest of Milan. The comune was created in 2004 from parts of the comune of Bollate. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 11,227 and an area of 2.8 km².[1]
Baranzate borders the following municipalities: Bollate, Milan, Garbagnate Milanese, Novate Milanese.
