Bosanski Petrovac (Cyrillic: Босански Петровац) [2] or Petrovac (Cyrillic: Петровац) is a municipality in Republika Srpska, Bosnia and Herzegovina. It was created from part of the pre-war municipality of Bosanski Petrovac (the other part of the pre-war municipality is now in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina).

It is located between municipalities of Bosanski Petrovac (BIH Federation) in the north and west, Ribnik and Istočni Drvar in the east, and Drvar in the south.
