[edit] Paramount Comedy 1

Main article: Paramount Comedy 1

Paramount Comedy 1 is a television channel shown in the UK, available through digital satellite (Sky Digital) and cable (Virgin Media and UPC Ireland). As the name suggests, it is owned by Paramount Pictures (aka Viacom) and concentrates on comedy. Paramount was not the first all-comedy channel in the UK; that distinction goes to The Comedy Channel, which had closed some years earlier.

[edit] Paramount Comedy 2

Main article: Paramount Comedy 2

Paramount Comedy 2 is a television channel shown in the UK and Ireland. The channel was previously a so-called 'time-shuffle' service, offering programmes from Paramount Comedy at different times. It has since started broadcasting some different programming from Paramount, often British. It launched on 1 September 2003 on Sky Digital, and followed soon after on 22 September 2003 on Telewest and 15 October 2003 on NTL (both NTL and Telewest are now known as Virgin Media). Unlike Paramount Comedy 1, Paramount Comedy 2 does not (yet) have a separate adstream for Ireland.

[edit] Paramount Comedy (Spain)

Paramount Comedy is a channel available in Spain through satellite platform Digital+ and cable services. It belongs to the Viacom group.

[edit] Paramount Comedy 1 (Ireland)
