Drumstick is the brand name for different novelty ice cream cones sold in the United States, Australia, Canada, and other countries across the world.
A typical Drumstick-brand ice cream cone is a waffle cone filled with ice cream, topped with chocolate and nuts, has a chunk of chocolate in the bottom of the cone and is commonly found in the frozen food section of a US grocery store. However in Canada and Australia, a variety is available, which replaces the waffle cone with a solid chocolate cone.
Other varieties of the ice cream include caramel- and fudge-filled cones and Mint Chocolate Crunch and Cookies and Cream Crunch and simply dipped.
The original product was invented by I.C. Parker of The Drumstick Company in 1928. The company and brand was later acquired by Nestlé in 1991 and is now sold worldwide. [1]
