User talk:Dorftrottel
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I have no particular agenda on how to handle user talk (except for this simple rule). I'm confident we'll figure a way to get the essential points across to each other anyway. Chances are, I'll reply on your talk page and watch it for a reply from you. If you'd rather put it here to avoid a fragmented discussion, you're welcome to copy anything over together with your latest reply. Also, please don't hold back: Nobody is perfect and I'm grateful for any constructive criticism and advice you may have with regard to specific edits or my conduct in general. (please remember to provide a subject/headline and to sign your post with four tildes: ~~~~ )
[edit] Removing messages?Dude, seriously? I may have inadvertently offended you, but throwing your toys out of your pram won't help things one bit. – PeeJay 10:43, 9 June 2008 (UTC)
[edit] re:anxietyyeah, i know the feeling. no luck on a head set, alas. i've been relying on a neighbor's wireless and the signal isn't all that great... also, i'd feel like an idiot talking about WP on a public terminal. when my situation improves i'll let you know. hope all is well. [edit] Thank YouThank you for the comments you left on my RFA. In response to the signbook, I'd like to point you to this diff [1]. That is one of the reasons I keep it. I don't keep it to get a whole lot of signatures. I keep it to see all of the wonderful editors I have had contact with. Thanks again. :) <3 Tinkleheimer TALK!! 21:32, 9 June 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Euro 2008 venues table ideaHow about this? I've made it so that the stadium name and the capacity are grouped together, separate from the city name and the image of the stadium. – PeeJay 14:21, 10 June 2008 (UTC) suggested table layout
[edit] My RfAThanks for taking the time to contribute, and of course, thanks for voting to support :). Your contribution was the best kind; you accept the userbox, and that it might be considered a problem, but focus on my contributions regardless :). I'll apply again in 4-6 months, so i'll hopefully see you then :). Ironholds 21:36, 10 June 2008 (UTC) [edit] Re: keeping scoreNormally I would agree with you, but enforcing that would take too much effort. We'd spend more time reverting edits than doing anything else, so my philosophy on this is "If you can't beat them, join them". – PeeJay 16:25, 11 June 2008 (UTC) ::D Good point. dorftrottel (talk) 01:11, 12 June 2008 (UTC) [edit] Austria Euro2004 bidHow can Austria bid for euro 2004 if they were announced in 2002 that they will organize euro 2008? — Well, since the decision is made five to six years ahead of time, that one should be self-evident. dorftrottel (talk) 15:49, 11 June 2008 (UTC)
[edit] JustIt was just a mistake [2] Everyone makes those, especially when they've had a day like mine. ——Martinphi ☎ Ψ Φ—— 06:39, 13 June 2008 (UTC)
[edit] {{Germany-film-stub}}Hi - a stub template or category which you created has been nominated for deletion or renaming at Wikipedia:Stub types for deletion. The stub type, which was not proposed at Wikipedia:WikiProject Stub sorting/Proposals, does not meet the standard requirements for a stub type, either through being incorrectly named, ambiguously scoped, or through failure to meet standards relating to the current stub hierarchy or likely size, as explained at Wikipedia:Stub. Please feel free to make any comments at WP:SFD regarding this stub type, and in future, please consider proposing new stub types first! Grutness...wha? 00:53, 14 June 2008 (UTC) [edit] Recent AfDI'm here to inform you that I closed out this AfD (rather soon). I feel there has been enough discussion and enough support early on to merit its closure. Any thoughts or concerns should be brought up on my talk at your convenience. — MaggotSyn 12:59, 14 June 2008 (UTC) |
