Catlin Township is located in Vermilion County, Illinois. The population was 3,153 at the 2000 census.

Catlin Township covers an area of 50.06 square miles and contains one incorporated settlement, Catlin. According to the USGS, it contains eleven cemeteries: Allhands, Cox, Dougherty, God's Acre, Hickman, Jones Grove, Mount Vernon, Oak Ridge, Pate, Songer and Wright Family.
