  • Portal:Argentina is in need of maintenance. Selected article and selected picture pages for the month need to be added. I can try to help but I do not have the time to be the only maintainer, though I would certainly help. More importantly, as I do not live in Argentina, I am a little removed from current events and information. Somebody local can help with this, or at least point me to interesting articles to post in the portal to keep it lively. It does not have to be changed every day as the main page is, but periodically (say once-a-month) would be nice. If somebody points me to good and relevant info I would format and post it. Any volunteers to help? (You can post a message in my Talk page or send me email if you wish) -- Alexf42 12:29, 11 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] New pages

If you have just created a page, add it here at the top of the list. Help other contributors' efforts by copy editing, checking or adding sources and references, and tagging articles appropriately into categories. See also: Wikipedia:Wikiproject Argentine football/New articles

Note: * means "and articles listed in it".

[edit] Other

  • I started adding UN/LOCODE of Argentine places to the respective articles. [1]
  • Could someone who knows Piazzolla's life and work please take a look at this edit in María de Buenos Aires. It's certainly not good English, and it's uncited. If it's factually correct, it should be copy edited; if not it should be reverted. I have no idea which. I figure someone here can help. - Jmabel | Talk 06:41, 12 August 2006 (UTC)
  • I really do not believe that "José Domingo Molina Gómez" is a real historical character, yet he is supposed to be a former Argentine president, not only here, but in Spanish, French and Italian wikipedia as well.

And I also would like to point out that Justo, Ortiz and Castillo appear as "military dictators" in the Argentine presidents template.

[edit] Stub types

New stub templates have been created for each of Argentina's provinces. Feel free to tag articles with them, and once each is applied to 60 articles, WikiProject Stub sorting will create a category for it. Cheers, Her Pegship (tis herself) 14:52, 12 March 2008 (UTC)
