Ernesto Sanz (b. 9 December 1956, San Rafael Department, Mendoza) is an Argentine Radical Civic Union (UCR) politician. He sits in the Argentine Senate representing Mendoza Province.
Sanz qualified as a lawyer from the National University of Santa Fe, practicing since 1981. When democracy returned in 1983, he became an adviser to Governor of Mendoza Felipe Llaver. He served as a provincial senator from 1993, acting as President of the Radical block from 1995. In 1999 he became mayor of San Rafael.
In 2003, Sanz was elected Senator for Mendoza. He is leader of the UCR block in the Senate.[1]
