Young Jin Moon (born 1978, died 1999), the sixth son of Sun Myung Moon and Hakja Han Moon, the leaders of the Unification Church.
He died in Reno, Nevada in what church members declare an accident, some even claimed it could have been murder.[1] However, upon finding his lifeless body, the Reno Police Department filed a report of his death as a suicide. He apparently jumped from the 17th floor of the Harrah's Casino and Hotel in Reno.[1]
In an online diary entry[2] from his sister (Yeon Jin Moon), she details the development of depression and anxiety in Young Jin's life. She also notes how she felt when he insisted on traveling to Las Vegas alone when she asked to accompany him, suggesting he may have been planning this suicide attempt.
