Windows Live Messenger Mobile is the version of Windows Live Messenger that is aimed to be used in mobile devices. There is a WAP-compatible version that may be used on any mobile device, and also specific client versions designed for Windows Mobile and Nokia Series 60 devices.

A client version of Windows Live Messenger Mobile is included with the Windows Mobile 6 operating system. It is included on both Windows Mobile 6 smartphone edition (non-touch screen phones) and professional (touch screen phones).
Among other features you can send voice-clips (max 10 seconds), pictures & emoticons. It will work over the cellular data plan or WiFi (if supported by the phone).

A client version of Windows Live Messenger Mobile is available for open-market Nokia Series 60 devices like the Nokia N95 device. The client is similar to the Windows Mobile client and among other features supports sending voice-clips (max 10 seconds), pictures & emoticons. It works over the cellular data plan or WiFi (if supported by the phone).
