[edit] Biography
Brianreading is a Mexican American Wikipedian, and is also known as Brian Reading in real life. Brian was born on August, 30 1985 in Lubbock, Texas. He is a student at the University of Houston majoring in information systems and minoring in political science. Brian currently resides in Houston.
[edit] Political views
Brian is a libertarian by ideology. He believes that the less government intervention on both social and economic matters, the better. He breaks on specific issues concerning foreign policy with the Libertarian Party (as well as with liberals), as he feels they hold the wrong stance on The War on Terror and Gulf War II. Thus, he is a neolibertarian.
He tends to side with conservatives on most political issues, as the current Republican Party of the United States has an agenda that relies on States' rights versus Federal rights and low government intervention on economic matters. He tends to break with Conservatives however, based on their religious agendas and social intervention.
[edit] Religious and Philosophical views
Brian is an agnostic. He believes in a Nietzschean philosophy of individualism and rational self-preservation, as well as a practical philosophy of pragmatism. Brian believes in a natural social stratification among socio-economic classes, and endorses some aspects of social darwinism.
