Conrad N. Hilton College of Hotel and Restaurant Management, also known as simply Hilton College is an academic college at the University of Houston. The college, consisting of several facilities, includes a full-service Hilton Hotel.

The Hilton College began in 1969 when James Taylor, who would be the first dean for the college, presented Eric Hilton, son of Conrad N. Hilton with plans for a hospitality college to be located at the University of Houston. Barron Hilton, upon hearing of the particular college from his brother agreed it would be an excellent opportunity to honor their father. After Conrad Hilton was presented with the plans from his sons, he immediately contributed $1.5 Million dollars for completion of the project.[1]
Following the start of classes on September 16, 1969. a Black Tie Dinner was held in celebration by the President of UH.[1]
