[edit] History
Windows Live Feeds Platform was announced by Microsoft on July 17, 2006.[1] It is expected to be released in late 2007 or early 2008.[citation needed]
[edit] Concepts
There are three key concepts, as provided by Microsoft.
[edit] Synchronization
According to Microsoft, "your data should move with you". Microsoft built an RSS feed syndication platform into Internet Explorer 7, which allows any application running to leverage central feed storage.
[edit] Sharing
The platform will allow users to share items that he finds interesting to friends or the world.
[edit] Portability
Microsoft plans to make the project available to almost any computer at launch.
[edit] Launch
It is currently unknown exactly when the platform will launch, however, it is presumed to launch possibly in early 2008.[citation needed] The project has been in development for over a year, thus it may be implied that it will have many features. The delayed launch may also be because of the feeds being found by employees, and there may be too many for them to find. It is also unknown the application will be Web-based or a desktop application.[original research?]
