Weightlifting at the 2008 Summer Olympics

Weightlifting competitions at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing will be held from August 9 to August 19. Competitions will be conducted at the Beihang University Gymnasium.

An NOC may enter a maximum of 6 men and 4 women athletes, with up to 2 entries in each weight class.
The team classification is calculated from the Total results only, as per the IWF Technical Rules and qualified teams are not included in the team classifications, the team ranking is upgraded accordingly.
The qualification places will be allocated as follows:
