The Druha Liha is a football league in Ukraine. The league is lower than the Persha Liha, also known as the Ukrainian First League. Druha Liha is third level of the football championship in Ukraine. Between seasons '93 and '95, there existed a fourth professional level of the football championship in Ukraine, but in 1996 season it was incorporated into the Second League. The Second League since 1996 is divided regionally in few groups. Only in the very first season the teams in this league were divided randomly in two groups. From 1993 season to 1995 the league had a single group. The league was divided into three groups (Druha Liha A, B and C) until 2006, when Druha Liha C was abandoned due to a shortage of teams.
