FC Zakarpattia Uzhgorod is a professional Ukrainian football team from Uzhgorod, Ukraine. In 2001, Zakarpattia debuted in the Ukrainian Premier League, however, a last place finish saw them demoted back to the Ukrainian First League. They resurfaced again in 2004-05, but the club was unable to avoid relegation once again after taking last place a year later. A successful campaign during the 2006-07 season in the Ukrainian First League resulted in another promotion to the Ukrainian Premier League.
