FC Metalurg Donetsk (Ukrainian: ФК «Металург» Донецьк) is a Ukrainian football club from the city of Donetsk. It is currently playing in the Ukrainian Premier League).

Metalurg has its roots in the team FC Antratsyt Kirovske. After a disappointing first season in the independent Ukraine, in the 1993 season Antratsyt placed third in the Third League and was promoted to the Second League. Once in the Second League the club relocated to Shahtarsk and changed its name to FC Medita Shahtarsk. A couple of years later the club was reorganized and renamed FC Metalurg Donetsk. After placing second in its league the club gained the promotion to First League, which Metalurg won in 1997.
