Tonypandy railway station is a railway station serving the town of Tonypandy in South Wales. It is located on the Rhondda Line. The station cannot be directly accessed from Tonypandy, a scenic bridge over the river Rhondda must be used as the station adjuncts a mountain.
The current station dates from the 1960s, replacing an earlier structure which had been destroyed in road renovations. It was first opened on this site by the Taff Vale Railway in 1908[1].
