Mountain Ash railway station is a railway station serving the town of Mountain Ash in Rhondda Cynon Taff, South Wales. It is located on the Aberdare branch of the Merthyr Line and to the south of the town. The bus station is just outside the railway station; there is a car park on the Henry Street side; and a walkway on platform 2 gives exit to the A5059.
A station serving this area of the town was first opened at Oxford Street by the Taff Vale Railway in 1888. This was closed to passengers by the Western Region of British Railways in 1964. Passenger services were reinstated to a new platform by British Rail in 1988.
