Thorhild is a village in central Alberta, Canada. It is located 86 km north of the city of Edmonton. The actor Leslie Neilson is a former resident of Thorhild.

In 2006, Thorhild had a population of 505 living in 254 dwellings, a 9.3% increase from 2001. The village has a land area of 1.67 km² (0.6 sq mi) and a population density of 302.3/km² (783/sq mi).[1]
