Chauvin is a village in east central Alberta, Canada. It is located 60 kilometres (37 mi) east of Wainwright, and 10 kilometres (6 mi) west of the Saskatchewan border.

In 2006, Chauvin had a population of 308 living in 149 dwellings, a 15.8% decrease from 2001. The Village has a land area of 2.32 square kilometres (0.9 sq mi) and a population density of 132.7 inhabitants per square kilometre (343.7/sq mi) .[1]
