Girouxville (IPA: /ˈʒɪrʊvɪl/) is a village in northern Alberta, Canada, located 58 kilometres (36 mi) south of the town of Peace River.

According to the 2006 census:
- population of 282 living in 139 dwellings, a 7.8% decrease from 2001.
- land area of 0.58 km² (0.2 sq mi)
- population density of 489.0 inhabitants per square kilometre (1,266.5/sq mi).[1]
[edit] History
- 1915: The name of the settlement was changed from "Fowler" to "Girouxville" after one of its first settlers, whose last name was "Giroux".
- 1917: The first post office was opened.
- 1941: Girouxville opens its first Credit Union and Co-op store.
- 1951: Girouxville is incoporated as a village. [2]
