Roger F. Wendt is a Democratic member of the Iowa House of Representatives, representing the 2nd District since 2002.
Wendt currently serves on several committees in the Iowa House - the Judiciary committee; the State Government committee; the Ways and Means committee; and the Education committee, where he is chair.
Wendt was re-elected in 2006 with 4,212 votes, running unopposed. [1]
He received his BA from Wayne State College, his MA from the University of South Dakota, and his Ed.D. from the University of South Carolina.
