Donovan Olson is a U.S. politician. He is currently the Iowa State Representative from the 48th District. He has served in the Iowa House of Representatives since 2002. He received his BA and MCRP from Iowa State University.
Olson currently serves on several committees in the Iowa House - the Economic Growth committee; the Local Government committee; the Transportation committee; and the Environmental Protection committee, where he is chair. He also serves on the Agriculture and Natural Resources Appropriations Subcommittee.
Olson was re-elected in 2006 with 6,145 votes, defeating Republican opponent Charles Braun. [1]
