[edit] Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Bathchronicle.jpg}

Thank you for uploading Image:Bathchronicle.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this image under "fair use" may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the image description page and add or clarify the reason why the image qualifies for fair use. In particular, for each page the image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check:

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's escription page for each article the image is used in.
  • That every article it is used on is linked to from its description page.

Please be aware that a fair use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for images used under the fair use policy require both a copyright tag and a fair use rationale.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it might be deleted by adminstrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. [edit] WP: Devon

Thanks so much for taking interest! After I've done all the categories I'm going to start marking all the unassessed article to the correct assessment (a lot of them should already have their assessment on their talk page). You can do the same with importance as well as their class. If you want to help me out with this you can start from the end of the list and go backwards and I'll start from the front and work my way back. Only if you want to of course! Thanks! Meaty♠Weenies (talk) 20:53, 27 May 2008 (UTC)

Do you know how you can get one of these pages for the Devon (or Somerset) Wikiproject? Meaty♠Weenies (talk) 21:27, 27 May 2008 (UTC)

I appears as though User:WP 1.0 bot has just done this for me. Thanks anyway! Meaty♠Weenies (talk) 00:48, 28 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Somerset Towers -- Good Enough?

Hi, Rod -- all sorts of family issues have kept me out of the wikiworld of late. I put in the pevsner citations for two picture caption quotes and changed the Huish Episcopi caption, with another reference... But I'm not very good at references so we now have two additional Pevsner reference appearing at the end... and I see if I'd known how to do it, I could have piggy backed on another reference already there on the Huish Episcopi tower being on the 1972 9-p stamp... I'm hopeless. I also don't know whether the article is good enough to be nominated as a Good Article.... but feel free to run it up that flagpole and see if anyone salutes... a good yankee expression for "give it a shot" I guess... chrs et bestCelia Kozlowski (talk) 21:42, 2 June 2008 (UTC)

[edit] DYK

Updated DYK query On 6 June 2008, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article John Billingsley (agriculturist), which you created or substantially expanded. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the Did you know? talk page.

[edit] Shortening Somerset Towers

Hiya, Rod, IMHO... Better than taking out quotes or pix, I'll suggest on the talk page for Somerset Towers that we cut it just before the beginning of all the Generations... and move that to a secondary page e.g. A Tour of Somerset Towers or some such. cheers,Celia Kozlowski (talk) 21:29, 8 June 2008 (UTC)
