Rocky Michael Boiman (born January 24, 1980 in Cincinnati, Ohio) is an American football linebacker for the Philadelphia Eagles of the National Football League. He was originally drafted by the Tennessee Titans in the fourth round of the 2002 NFL Draft. He played college football at the University of Notre Dame.

Boiman has also been a member of the Dallas Cowboys and Indianapolis Colts. He earned a Super Bowl ring with the Colts in Super Bowl XLI.

Rocky graduated in 1998 from St. Xavier High School in his hometown of Cincinnati, Ohio.

[edit] Tennessee Titans

He was drafted in the fourth round of the 2002 NFL Draft by the Tennessee Titans where he played mostly on special teams for four seasons.

[edit] Dallas Cowboys

An unrestricted free agent, on March 20, 2006 Boiman signed a three-year contract with the Dallas Cowboys and was projected to start in the 2006 season, but he was subsequently released on September 3, 2006.

[edit] Indianapolis Colts

The Indianapolis Colts picked him up off waivers on September 4, 2006, where he went on to play in every game and earn a Super Bowl ring. Boiman signed a one-year contract with the Colts in April, 2007, and he went on to play in every game in that season as well, including seven starts.

On March 24, 2008, Boiman signed a one-year contract with the Philadelphia Eagles.[1]
