Propata is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Genoa in the Italian region Liguria, located about 25 km northeast of Genoa. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 166 and an area of 16.8 km².[1]
Propata borders the following municipalities: Carrega Ligure, Fascia, Rondanina, Torriglia, Valbrevenna.
