Mele is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Genoa in the Italian region Liguria, located about 15 km west of Genoa. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 2,630 and an area of 16.9 km².[1]

The municipality of Mele contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Acquasanta, Biscaccia, Fado, and Ferriera/Fondocrosa.

Mele borders the following municipalities: Bosio, Genoa, Masone.
