Písečná (Polish: Pioseczna , Cieszyn Silesian: Pioseczno) is a village in the Moravian-Silesian Region of the Czech Republic. It has 804 inhabitants (2001 census); 26.8% of the population are Poles.[1] It lies in the historical region of Cieszyn Silesia. Until 2000 it was administratively a part of Jablunkov.
