Hukvaldy

Hukvaldy (German: Hochwald) is a village in the Czech Republic, in the Moravian-Silesian Region. Population: 1,900.
The village is situated under the ruins of one of the largest castles in Moravia, Hrad Hukvaldy. Hukvaldy is the birthplace of the composer Leoš Janáček and palaeontologist Ferdinand Stoliczka.
