Nissan D engine

The Nissan D-series engine is a flat-head sleeve valve automobile engine produced in the 1950s.

The D1 was a 0.9 L (860 cc/52 in³) engine produced from 1952 through 1955. Bore was 60 mm (2.4 in) and stroke was 76 mm (3.0 in) in the undersquare British style. The engine was related to the Austin A-Series engine.

Output was 25 hp (18.6 kW) and 35.4 ft·lbf (48 Nm) with a single carburetor.
