Matthew Rees (born 9 December 1980 in Tonyrefail, Wales) is a Welsh rugby union footballer who currently plays for the Llanelli Scarlets in the Celtic League. His usual position is at hooker. He previously played for the now defunct Celtic Warriors and Pontypridd. He has also played for the Welsh national team.
