Iraq will compete in the 2008 Summer Olympics which will be held in Beijing, People's Republic of China from August 8 to August 24, 2008.

Archery
Iraq will send an archer to the Olympics for the first time. The nation was awarded a spot in the men's individual competition via Tripartite Commission invitation; Ali Adnan will become Iraq's first Olympic archer.[1]
