Fountain Creek Township is located in Iroquois County, Illinois. The population was 440 at the 2000 census. Fountain Creek Township formed from a portion of Ashe Grove Township on September 15, 1868.

Fountain Creek Township covers an area of 36.13 square miles and contains no incorporated settlements. According to the USGS, it contains one cemetery, Old Apostolic.
