Ash Grove Township covers an area of 61.23 square miles and contains no incorporated settlements. According to the USGS, it contains six cemeteries: Ash Grove, Cissna Park, Immanuel Lutheran, Saint John's Ash Grove, Saint Paul Lutheran and Schwer.
