Douglas Township is located in Iroquois County, Illinois. The population was 2,098 at the 2000 census. Douglas Township fromed from a portion of Onarga Township in May, 1858.

Douglas Township covers an area of 44.7 square miles and contains one incorporated settlement, Gilman. According to the USGS, it contains one cemetery, Wenger.
