Escalaplano is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Cagliari in the Italian region Sardinia, located about 50 km northeast of Cagliari. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 2,414 and an area of 93.8 km².[1]
Escalaplano borders the following municipalities: Ballao, Esterzili, Goni, Orroli, Perdasdefogu, Seui, Villaputzu.
