Cuba Township is a township in Lake County, Illinois, USA. As of the 2000 census, its population was 15,749[1]. Cuba Township was originally named Troy Township, but was renamed at about the time of the Spanish American War.

Cuba Township covers an area of 24.15 square miles (62.56 square kilometers); of this, 1.06 square miles (2.75 square kilometers) or 4.4 percent is water. Lakes in this township include Davlins Pond, Grassy Lake, Honey Lake, Lake Barrington, Flint Lake, Lake Sheree and North Tower Lake. The stream of Flint Creek runs through this township.
