Birmingham, Yardley is a constituency represented in the House of Commons of the Parliament of the United Kingdom. It elects one Member of Parliament (MP) by the first past the post system of election.

Yardley area committee district is situated in the south-east of Birmingham, at the boundary of Solihull.

Following the review of parliamentary representation in Birmingham and the West Midlands by the Boundary Commission for England, Yardley is to be modified with the following electoral wards making up a revised constituency.

In every general election (apart from 1992 and 2005) the MP elected for Birmingham Yardley was a member of the party winning the general election, making it a bellwether seat.

Birmingham, Yardley, historically a rare three-way marginal, was gained by the Liberal Democrat candidate John Hemming in 2005. Despite its marginal Parliamentary history, all local government seats in the constituency are now held by the Liberal Democrats.

Labour's Estelle Morris (now Baroness Morris of Yardley) had held the seat since winning it with a majority of just 162 votes in 1992 but stood down at the 2005 election. John Hemming finally won a Parliamentary seat at the forth time of asking, having also stood in Yardley in 1992, 1997 and 2001.
