'Till I Collapse is a song by the American rapper, Eminem from his 2002 album, The Eminem Show. The song also features Nate Dogg. Many remixes of this song have been produced, including verses from 50 Cent and Tupac Shakur. The song contains an uncredited sample of the popular Queen song, "We Will Rock You".
This song is known for its inspirational lyrics of the struggles of these rappers. It is its versatile beat that has allowed so many remixes to be produced effectively based on the song. The production is quite similar to one of Eminem's biggest hits, "Lose Yourself".
The marching style chanting at beginning of the song can also be heard at the end of "Soldier" from the same album and "Mosh" from his 2005 release Encore. In the track, Eminem names his favorite rappers as follows in the song:
- "I got a list here's the order of my list that it's in.
- It goes Reggie, Jay-Z, 2Pac and Biggie.
- André from OutKast, Jada, Kurupt, Nas and then me".
Though not a single, 'Till I Collapse still has received much praise for its strong lyrics and inspirational beats. The song has come to symbolize Eminem's undying determination to be the best, shown in Nate Doggs lines:
- "Till the roof comes off till the lights go out
- Till my legs give out can't shut my mouth
- Till the smoke clears out and my high burns out
- I'ma rip this shit till my bones collapse"
