Cerebral sulci are depressions or fissures in the surface of the brain. They surround the gyri, creating the characteristic appearance of the brain in humans and other large mammals.

I am Mysid, a random Wikipedia editor and student from Finland.

Besides minor editing I've utilized my knowledge of CorelDRAW I gained in secondary school to draw flags and to improve some graphics spoiled by inappropriate compression schemes (User:Mysid/vectors). I also do macro photography, just for fun, and have taken some pictures for Wikipedia (User:Mysid/otherimages). I've translated many articles into English, especially those concerning my home country.

I maintain the articles on national parks of Finland. I am also an administrator. Sometimes I like to answer questions at the Reference Desk.

The main reason for me being a Wikipedian is the wikiholism. But I also believe that by contributing to this project I at the same time contribute to mutual understanding between people around the world; and that by sharing my knowledge I help the small Earthling cope in this ever-hardening world.
