The 1961 Los Angeles Dodgers finished in second place at 89-65, four games in back of the Cincinnati Reds in the National League. 1961 was the fourth season for the Dodgers in L.A., and their final season of playing their home games at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, before moving to their new stadium the following April.
