From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Attention:

This IP address, 149.254.192.192, is registered to T-Mobile UK, and may be shared by multiple users. If the organization uses proxy servers or firewalls, this IP address may in fact represent many users at many physical computers.

For this reason, a message intended for one person may be received by another and a block may be shared by many. If you are editing from this address and are frustrated by irrelevant messages, you can avoid them by creating an account for yourself. In some cases, you may temporarily be unable to create an account due to efforts to fight vandalism; if so, please see here.

If you are autoblocked repeatedly, we encourage you to contact your Internet service provider or IT department and ask them to contact Wikimedia's XFF project about enabling X-Forwarded-For HTTP headers on their proxy servers so that our editing blocks will affect only the intended user. Alternatively, you can list the IP at Wikipedia:WikiProject on XFFs.

Caution should be used when blocking this IP or reverting its contributions without checking - if a block is needed, administrators should consider using a soft block with the template {{anonblock|optional comment}} as the block reason.

Note: In the event of vandalism from this address, abuse reports may be sent to your network administrator for further investigation.
IT staff who want to monitor vandalism from this IP address can subscribe to a web feed of this page in either RSS or Atom format.
This IP has been repeatedly blocked from editing Wikipedia in response to abuse of editing privileges.
Further abuse from this IP may result in an extended block.

Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing. However, unconstructive edits, such as those you made to Hobgoblin, are considered vandalism and are immediately reverted. If you continue in this manner you may be blocked from editing without further warning. Please stop, and consider improving rather than damaging the work of others. [edit] August 2007

As indicated on the article's talk page, your external link is being deleted because it violates WP:EL. Additionally, it is masquerading as an official fansite when it isn't one, and it's been suggested that you are involved with the site, bringing up some WP:COI and WP:SPAM issues as well. If you wish to discuss this, please use the article's talk page. Sarcasticidealist 18:09, 7 August 2007 (UTC)

This is like AOL. You can't block this IP!!

Request reason: "This IP is used by over 200,000 users as it is for T-Mobile ( just like AOL)."

[edit] Bilawal Bhutto Zardari

Trivia sections are discouraged. The recommendation is that their contents are integrated into the rest of the article, or organised under new, relevant headings, but I don't see that happening. The focus of the information seems to be the article itself, rather than the information it includes (An english writer, Glen Owen, had published article titled [sic]). Many articles have been published about Bilawal since he became PPP chairman, what marks this one out as so important? Glen Owen isn't an especially well-known journalist at all, so it won't stand up on authorship for notability. I don't think the article itself can hold a lot on merit, either: the title inside the student life of . . . suggests that this is an interview or was written with inside information, when in fact the main source seems to be Facebook; it's specualtive of attitudes (His antics at Oxford University would shock people); and it doesn't really say anything, just that a 19-year-old goes to student parties and doesn't drink because he's Muslim.

Why don't we just include links to all the sensationalist articles written about the guy in the British press in the past weeks? Hope this helps. --AdamSommerton (talk) 22:42, 11 January 2008 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Nicola Roxon, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. [edit] Fatima Bhutto

Your comment regarding Fatimas nationality is incorrect. Yes, she was born in Afghanistan, but that does not make her an Afghanistani. She has never refered to herself as Afghan, but has on several occasions commented on how "Being a Pakistani citizen", she is concerned with bla bla. Type in "Fatima Bhutto Frontline" in google, click on the first link, and view the video. She cleary says "Being a Pakistani citizen..." May i also remind you, that she not got an Afghan passport, But has got a Pakistani Passport (Hence her being able to stay in Pakistan for the past 8 years or so) Being concieved in a particular country, does not make you an automatic citizen of that nation. Why are you so eager to make us believe she is Afghanistani? She has no links to it, and is not involved in that country in any way what so ever. Please give your ego a rest and stop spreading lies. Thank you86.132.124.85 (talk) 14:49, 18 January 2008 (UTC)

Request reason: "yo this is a shared IP. Why is it that the British AOL ( T-Mobile) is discriminated against. So American internet providers don't get blocked but the whole of the UK who use T-mobile do."

Decline reason: "Because US ISPs like AOL are using XFF headers to differentiate their users when T-Mobile doesn't. Sorry but in the present state, allowing anonymous editing from this IP has proven to be a waste of human and server resources, and we have better to do that endlessly fight vandalism. If you want to know more, and tell T-Mobile about XFF forwarding, please see Wikipedia:XFF. You can also register an account by e-mail. — -- lucasbfr talk 23:08, 29 January 2008 (UTC)"

[edit] No bad stuff from this IP

Can we unblock now?

Please send an email to unblock-en-l@lists.wikimedia.org listing your IP address and requesting that an account be created. Hi there, Wikipedia's legal address? I have no idea - but to request an account creation, please send an email to accounts-enwiki-l@lists.wikimedia.org - with details of the username that you would like to be created, and your IP address.
