Ya Mar

Ya Mar is the title of a song popularized by the jam band Phish. It was originally written by Cyril Ferguson.

As the story goes, bassist Mike Gordon was on vacation in the Caribbean when he heard Yamar performed by The Mustangs, a reggae band.

Mike Gordon recorded a version of the song with Leo Kottke for their album Sixty Six Steps.
