"Bouncing Around the Room" was Phish's most popular commercial single. No other Phish song received as much radio air time as Bouncing Around the Room.[citation needed] It was released on the album Lawn Boy and later as a live track on A Live One.
According to Trey Anastasio during VH1's (inside)out: Dave & Trey Go to Africa, the song was written with the intent of mimicking the style of Senegalese bands such as Orchestre Baobab.
