WJMF

WJMF (88.7 FM) is a radio station in Smithfield, Rhode Island. This station is run by Bryant University and is the one of the top college radio stations in Rhode Island. It plays a variety of music ranging from alternative, to metal as well as some country as well as classic rock. It is also known for hosting local political debates, interviews with athletes, and having talk radio shows. The "Beat of Bryant," as it is called, also streams its programming from its website. They host weekly shows for the Bryant University Division I athletic teams as well.
One of the main objectives of WJMF is to promote music of any kind. They do promotions with local bands, as well as have at least one concert a year. WJMF also works very closely with all organizations and the university administration to help promote unity and a form of communication throughout Bryant.
